Chapter Seventeen

Izzy

There were a hundred reasons why I shouldn’t kiss Cam. But there was one reason I should—I wanted to. I wanted to taste him again. Kissing him was amazing. The man knew how to kiss, which led me to believe he could do a lot of other things really well.

We were in the backseat of his car at a drive-in theater. That probably should have been the biggest deterrent. I probably shouldn’t be throwing myself at the man who was technically my boss as well as my brother’s best friend. However, Ramsey had to understand I was more than capable of making my own decisions. He couldn’t tell me what to do. He couldn’t tell Cam what to do. It wasn’t like we weren’t going into this with expectations of anything more than just a little sex. I needed to move on from Patrick. This seemed like a good way to do that.

Then again, Ramsey had always done what he could to look out for me. He sacrificed for me. I did owe him some honesty. What if this thing with Cam turned into a casual relationship? Ramsey might accidentally find out and that would be horrible. It would hurt him to know we were sneaking around behind his back. He would think we set out to deceive him and that wasn’t the case at all. I didn’t want him to end up hating me or his best friend. I looked over at Cam, taking in his strong profile. He was the one guy I had crushed on for more than half my life. He was right here for the taking.

Fuck it. I wanted the man and I deserved to have a little excitement. I scooted closer to him and leaned in. I wanted him to know exactly what I was offering.

“Izzy, we shouldn’t…” he whispered.

“No, we probably shouldn’t, but fuck it, right? It’s just a little kissing.”

“You’re a bad influence,” he growled a second before he grabbed me again.

Our mouths slammed together.

His hand went to my breast and he squeezed it through my shirt.

I moaned. I couldn’t help it.

It was like a switch had been flipped inside of me. One kiss and I was a wanton woman.

His fingers tugged on my nipple through my shirt.

“Goddammit,” he groaned.

He lifted me onto his lap, and I straddled him.

He pulled his mouth from mine and buried his face in my neck.

I could feel the scrape of his teeth against my neck, followed by his tongue. I tilted my head to the side and let him do whatever he wanted to me. His rough hands were under my shirt, tugging it up. I lifted my arms, and he stripped the shirt off.

My breasts were exposed to the air and Cam’s hot gaze.

He didn’t waste any time putting a nipple in his mouth. I cried out.

I was officially a good girl gone bad.

“Cam,” I breathed, my hips rubbing against his erection.

He pulled me down to him, crushing my mouth with his.

“I need to fuck you, Izzy,” he whispered against my ear.
